On the weekend of October 27 a few of us ventured to Prague for some sightseeing. We did the usual, flew cheap, slept cheap...ate and drank expensively ;-) The city of 100 spires was just amazing, completely old world beautiful and super relaxing, albeit a little chilly!

We typically steer clear of the tourist traps in most cities, but we'd heard how amazing the Jewish cemetary is so we forked out the bucks. The cemetary holds about 12,000 headstones, although there are far more than 12,000 people buried there. Because of restrictions on space allowed for Jewish people, over the years many layers of dirt were added to fit all the bodies...Crazy eh? They say the oldest tombstone dates back to 1439.
