I now understand why this is a moment that many parents wait and wait for - the day when your kid finally smiles back! She's been "smiling" for a few weeks - but this past week or so has been the first time she was obviously smiling at us doing something goofy (e.g. all the funny noises and dorky chatting I'm doing in the video - just ignore me, I guess one will do anything to make their baby smile!)
And yes, she's back in the rainforest - apparently, it never gets old.
Oh and a little shout out - thank you Grandma Allison for the adorable "Hadley" onesie!
