I'm working on the trip home blog but waiting for some of the photos...in the mean time...
A friend of mine does this update on her blog each month for her little boy and I thought it was a great way to track what Hadley is up to (especially since this blog is her baby book)!
Latest Words: Ah-goo and lots of squealing...almost laughing!
Favorite Things: The "Papa is the Best" Binky, her rain forest chair & play mat (still!), stroller rides in her new sitting up stroller (converted from the bassinet), getting her diaper and clothes changed, splashing at bath time, being outside and looking up at the trees!
Favorite Foods: Bottles, bottles...more bottles...
Dislikes: When we make her eat her whole bottle, she would prefer to snack all day :), being too hot (not easy to avoid in 90 degree humid heat without air conditioning...), going to bed when she's not ready!
Accomplishments: Rolled over from stomach to back once and back to stomach twice (couldn't get herself back over - darn!), holds her head up perfectly, getting better at lifting up her body during tummy time, noticed she has feet recently :), also noticed that she has a kitty cat and grabbed a bunch of his fur the other day (I think she has successfully won Oscar over, he seems to be really interested in her now)! Can also grab toys and likes to whack at the little parrot on her rain forest chair...poor parrot :)
Highs: Being PERFECT on both flights to and from the US, didn't cry or make hardly a peep, just smiled at everyone walking by in the aisle - she got a ton of compliments! Meeting all her grandparents at home, boy she loved ALL of them!
Lows: Trying to navigate Zurich in the sweltering heat without air conditioning! Not pleasant!
Tender Moments: Cuddle time with daddy every night after work, smiling up a storm especially first thing in the morning when she sees us :) It doesn't get any better than Hadley's smile!
