Since my adventure at the hospital (2 weeks ago today) I've been out of work with a Dr's note. This is pretty common practice in Switzerland even for those who haven't gone into labor during an audit. Women typically stop working about 4 weeks prior to their due date (and miraculously, this time is not included as part of your maternity leave). Anyhow, many have been wondering if I've been "keeping busy". The answer to that is a resounding YES! There are a lot of ladies in town who stay home with their kids (or dogs) and I have been lucky enough to join their mommy group a little prematurely. We usually meet either at one of our houses or Starbucks and then take a long walk around the lake. Here is to practicing for life as a mom :) The pictures below are of just a small part of the group.
Anna & Bosco, Nancy and twins Rachel & Julia, Kacey & Townes

Same crew, except Bosco did not want to turn around...

Walking with Bosco is like walking with a famous celebrity...Everyone wants their picture taken with him.

And last but not least...37 weeks and 1 day. Yes, I know. Yikes. And no, it is NOT twins.

you look sooo cute... sooo jealous of your mommy group... no mommies around here yet but luckily there are many many babies on the way so Bennett will have lots of friends before we know it... hopefully an international girlfriend soon :)
No way!! That belly does not fit that little body of yours!
